We retain your personal data for a maximum of 24 months from the date you subscribed or last engaged with our communications. After that period your data is deleted from our systems.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data is stored on our own self-hosted newsletter infrastructure (Listmonk), running on a server located in the European Union. We do not use third-party email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or similar services.

We use Brevo (Sendinblue) solely as an SMTP relay to deliver emails — they transmit messages but do not store your data or use it for their own purposes. Brevo is GDPR-compliant and EU-based.

7. Cookies & External Resources

This website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and understand which campaigns bring visitors to the site. The Pixel sets first-party cookies (such as _fbp, and _fbc if you arrive via a Facebook or Instagram ad) and shares data such as your IP address, browser information and the pages you visit with Meta Platforms, Inc.

The Pixel only loads after you accept the cookie banner shown when you first visit this site. If you decline, or take no action, the Pixel does not load and no tracking cookie is set. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site, which will show the banner again on your next visit.

This website also uses Matomo, a self-hosted web analytics tool, to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, referring sites, general location and device type). Matomo sets first-party cookies (_pk_id, _pk_ses) to recognise repeat visits. Unlike the Meta Pixel, this data is not shared with any third party — it is stored on our own analytics server, hosted with Hostinger at a data centre outside the European Economic Area. Because of this, using Matomo involves an international transfer of your data; this transfer is covered by Hostinger's data processing agreement and standard contractual clauses, which provide the safeguards required by GDPR for transfers outside the EEA.

Unlike the Pixel, Matomo behaves differently from the moment you arrive: it logs an anonymous, cookieless visit count (page viewed, referring site, browser type) for every visitor, with no cookie set and no user-specific data sent. If you accept the cookie banner, Matomo also sets its first-party cookies to recognise repeat visits. If you decline, or take no action, no Matomo cookie is ever set and no user-specific data is sent to our analytics server.

This site also loads web fonts from Google's font service (fonts.googleapis.com), independent of the cookie banner. Loading these fonts sends your device's IP address to Google as part of that request. Google's own privacy policy governs how this data is handled.
